Opened in late 2009, Swede13 Cottage was initially just a small collection of Angie’s paintings and a handful of vintage pieces. At the time, she was selling most of her treasures in booths at local antique shops. In January of 2011 she made the decision to move to Etsy, which she considers her best decision ever.
Angie is very particular of the items that she brings into her shop. Most pieces are shabby and weathered with an understated chic style. She’s a true believer that a rustic, time-worn appearance only adds character and charm. Let your home tell your story and be an authentic collection of all that is you.

My favorite find from her shop are these shelf brackets. One of my other favorites, which also happens to be Angie’s favorite, are her vintage book collections. She says, ” I love browsing the old book shops for vintage books with character and coming home to assemble them by color, theme and mood. Each bundle is a small timeless treasure!” I love someone who pays such great attention to detail.
Some of my favorite items from her shop, aside from the previously mentioned items, are a decorative “Gone Junkin'” tray and vintage fleur de lis bookends. You can check out more details on my favorite items in this post.
From pillows and books to wall decor and trays, or if you’re looking for a treasure or something unique for your home, you’ll definitely want to check out Swede13 Cottage.
